Dental CT

With dental computed tomography (dental CT) it is possible to display the upper and lower jaw in all three planes in high resolution image quality. Different areas of the jaw region can be assessed using the images. The images that are recorded using dental CT, provide information among other things about:

  • Bone width
  • Bone quality
  • Nerve channel position
  • Jaw cavity position
  • Nasal floor position

This information is important for orthodontic surgeons with implant treatments, the removal of lower jaw wisdom teeth, with ambiguous x-ray findings or as an aid for making decisions with dental development disorders.

The images can shorten treatment and contribute to ensuring permanent treatment success.
